Joy Tomme, mother of The Rev. Michael Gorchov, Rector, died in Bryn Mawr Hospital in Philadelphia, PA on March 24, of natural causes. Her children were with her when she died.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 2:30 PM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Third and State Streets, Troy with The Rev. Steve Schlossberg, the Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church, Troy presiding, and Fr. Gorchov, the homilist. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Upcoming Events at St. Paul's:
Each week at St. Paul's we hold Morning Prayer at 8:15 on Tuesday in the side chapel. We also have a Noon communion service each Wednesday.
The church will be open starting at 430p on Wednesdays in Lent with a lenten supper and program following at 6p.
March 29th is Palm Sunday, and we will begin the 10 am service in the Guild House at 27 State St. with The Liturgy of the Palms.
March 29th is also the deadline to return the envelopes and offerings for Easter Flower/Music Memorials.
On Good Friday, April 3, The walk of the cross will be held in the church at 12pm and a special choral worship service will be held at 1pm.
Yes, or maybe we should say Christian Education for children. Children ages 5 through 12 are invited to St. Paul's religious education class beginning again on Thursday, October 30 for 7 weeks through Christmas. Through stories, music and crafts, children will learn Christian values and Bible messages. Class will be held from 4:15 to 5:15pm at the church, 58 3rd St, Troy, NY. Parents invited to stay for the class!
