Welcome to St. Paul's Episcopal Church
Welcome to the website of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, located on the corner of State and Third Streets in downtown Troy, New York. St. Paul's is a member of The Episcopal Diocese of Albany, New York. We hope you'll enjoy reading a bit about our parish and will feel inspired to visit our beautiful and historic church to experience the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Founded in 1804, St. Paul's was the first Episcopal Church established in Troy, New York. For over 200 years this parish has been a living witness to our faith that Christ has died, Christ is risen, and Christ will come again. We welcome you and invite you to join us in the faith and worship of the holy and undivided Trinity, the living God who makes himself known to us in his Incarnate Son, Jesus Christ.
The principal services at St. Paul's include the celebration of Holy Eucharist at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM on Sunday mornings and at 12:05 PM on Wednesdays. The Eucharist is also celebrated on Prayer Book Holy Days, usually at 6:00 in the evening. The Gospel is preached at each of these services, and baptized Christians are invited to receive our Lord Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of his Body and Blood by which we participate in his saving death on the Cross and his life-giving Resurrection.
On Tuesday and Friday, Morning Prayer is said at 8:15 AM. All are welcome.
